Like it or not, credibility is an interdependent climb
Justifiable firestorm over stupid article claiming that black women were objectively less attractive than other varieties; spoiler alert: there’s no such thing as objectivity when it comes to hotness. This is not a methodological error, it’s overt and shameful racism.
Real quick: I have nothing but good things to say about the clean, comfortable, clockwork Peter Pan bus lines in Massachusetts. I was able to change in Springfield on Wednesday afternoon while a real tornado tore through the same town; we experienced not a delay. I was so comfortable with my free wi-fi and chill ambiance that I didn’t actually learn of the inclement weather until catching it on the news later that night in Northhampton. I did, however, catch up plenty on this story and feel a bit exhausted by it.
She’s afraid that evolutionary psychology will experience a black mark because of its adjacency to many racist ideologies. The fallacy of the bad apple is only relevant when the intellectual climate isn’t a pie baked with a mixed batch of apples. I don’t have a position on this precarious debate, but I will say that the fears of evolutionary psychologists is justified.
What’s uncool is the damage control.
