Adele got sick and cancelled her bay area dates. Might be able to catch a show when she reschedules, I’m sure she’ll recover from laryngitis without incident. I adore this musician.

She’s at the top of her game right now, her radio single is spectacular and enthralling. Rolling in the Deep is poisonous polyphony wrapped attractively in charred lace; it grabs you by the collar and shakes you with its death-march cadence until you surrender, exhausted, scanning the radio for another chance to scream along.

Yeah, I like it.
